Paul Karpecki, OD

Paul Karpecki is a nationally recognized optometrist with more than 30 years of experience specializing in cornea, external disease, and dry eye disease. He serves as Director of Cornea and External Disease at the Kentucky Eye Institute and is an Associate Professor at the University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Optometry.

Widely regarded as a leader in dry eye research and education, Dr. Karpecki has contributed to major international initiatives, including TFOS DEWS II and DEWS III. He is also a prolific lecturer, author, and Chief Medical Editor of Review of Optometry.
